Disrupt Development supported CIVICUS in facilitating an in-person staff retreat in South Africa.

The retreat centered on two primary objectives:

1) fostering an inclusive environment for community connection and cross-team collaboration,

2) create a shared sense of CIVICUS’ journey/collective story with the new Strategic Plan

The retreat featured a series of interactive sessions designed to build a cohesive and collaborative atmosphere, enabling participants to form interpersonal connections and enhance teamwork. Simultaneously, discussions focused on ensuring a shared understanding of the strategic issues. By the end of the retreat, participants left feeling inspired, connected, and with greater attunement to CIVICUS' new strategic plan.
