We Lead is an innovative and far-reaching programme that aims to strengthen the influence and position of young women whose sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRH-R) are neglected the most. It targets young women and adolescent girls who: live with HIV; face vulnerability and discrimination; live with a disability; and/or are affected by displacement. Implemented in Jordan, Lebanon, Niger, Nigeria, Mozambique, Uganda, Kenya, Guatemala and Honduras. 

Disrupt Development was hired to execute the Mid-Term Review (MTR) for the We Lead programme. We worked with an international team with Country Researchers present in each of the 9 “We Lead” countries. Research methods were participatory workshops, semi-structured interviews, surveys and validation meetings. As the MTR was mainly focussed on learning, we gathered experiences, insights and - most importantly - hands-on recommendations from young women who participate in the We Lead programme (rightsholders). These recommendations serve as a way to strengthen the programme and accelerate its impact for the upcoming 2 years.

• An overarching Global Report with main findings and key recommendations
